Not sure if this is in the right place, so I apologize ahead of time.

Buddy gave me some Nems and hammer heads, then says here take this and make it grow. Not sure what it is though...

I agree-toadstool.
Its a leather coral. If its the normal brown variety, youll have to focus very hard to kill it lol
The tyree green toadstools are a little more finicky and get less polyp extension from what Ive seen.

Thanks so much for the info. I'm pretty green when it comes to corals, but I'm learning.

So, place him about mid-level in the tank, likes lots of flow and light too?
