Well I took advantage of the BRS and Redsea sales to get a 200XL G2 during black Friday.

After much internal debate over the aquascape I went rather light and gave some caves but also made it easier to access than last time.

Here it is after a month cycling and rift after adding fish.

I don't have any current photos as its going through some of the ugly stages. I am having issues keeping Nitrates up so some of the Zoas are a bit mad and I really need to get my doser online to keep Nitrate up.

Some of the hardware includes:
RS90 LED
RS Reefwave 25
AI Nero 3
RS Dose 4
SDC 3.0(possibly upgrading to the RS ReefRun 5500 at some point)
JBJ Dual Nano ATO (setup instructions suck, ignore them and just set your water level and plug it in)
Eheims new heater (easier to set than the old, reliability remains to be seen)
Icecap K1 Nano(way to small but I don't need it right now, its just adding oxygen)
The Plank automatic fish feeder

I hope to be more active in this one and less on the struggle bus.

I finally got a algae scraper wand since my flipper nano isn't strong enough. Whoo boy, that caused an imbalance after scraping a few panes clean.
Gotta remember to not nuke it all at once as nitrate and phosphate are raising a lot.

I think I need to replace this valve and get more socks or just not use socks at all. These two things cause my water level in the return chamber to fluctuate and my ATO messes up my salinity.

I finally got my battery box for my Tunze safety connector installed. It isn't my best work but I am happy to have it setup since we are having so many power outages right now. Makes it a little less imperative that I get the generator going.

Update, the battery box has helped a few times.

I also added a ATO pump holder for my RedSea ATO pump, the thing kept falling over.

I also got some of the algae cleaned up.

Waiting for it to attack again.

And HURRICANE!!!

Or AF Life Source. Decided to give some of this a try.

It is too early to say if this is doing anything but we shall see.

I was dealing with some green cyano despite all the parameters being in a good spot, I read about how if you don't get it all it can create the kind of environment it wants if you don't get it all. Hit it with Chemiclean and it went away, and parameters stayed pretty much the same so I am hoping I get to avoid the other rebound algae.

I also ordered enough salt to last for like two years.

or more if I eventually go "no" water change.

Gotta find a real place for these guys, going to have to move some power heads.
