oha, I have to send it in :(
I hope that our service has spare parts in stock.
i have recalibrated the lamp several times, but without success

it's not really bad, but it's not yet a year old.

UV LEDs don't last nearly as long as any other LEDs. I have made many LED fixtures at work and home and UV always have about 50-75% less life depending on what % you drive them.
 
The best thing any manufacturer could do is have a UV module that is easy to swap out.
 
Agreed even in the previous G3's & G4's, some of the UV diodes burn out within 2 years of use IME.
