Cyano likes areas with low flow. You could try adding a small power head in the fuge.

Help! I'm getting this purple stuff how do I fix it.

Get your self a small power head for in there. Wp 10 or hydor 400 gph. I run a wp 10 in mine on lowest setting. My cheato will just tumble under my light and keeps the cyano at bay.

I also have a cuc in my fuge. Blue legs and some sand sifting snails. Just a couple.
