Acan brown jelly?

Had this acan for well over a year and out of no where just started sliming up and 2 heads died off never seen this yet. Any ideas?

Sounds like brown jelly disease. A good start would be an antiseptic dip/bath. Do you have any iodine like lugols or something?

What are your parameters? (Salinity, dKh, calcium, magnesium, phosphates, nitrates, temp)? Any recent changes to the tank or nippy livestock?

If it is brown jelly the only things i have found that help it are antibiotics.... After reading a thread here i used ciproflaxin and it halted it. In my case i dosed the tank but also took the impacted frags and put in a tupperware(resting in tankwater to keep temp) with a much higher dose. I left them there for three days(changing water and remedicating twice a day).

Previous to that i had zero luck using things like iodine or other commonly mentioned(but rare success stories)
