My acan was beautiful and plump last night and now it seems to of closed up. Is it a flow or lighting thing or is it normal. I've read about it being both.

You can try moving him up on to the rocks slowly. I know they like low to mid light, but mine is perched on the top of a rock and seems happy.

To be honest sometimes mine will close up for no reason and then be open and fine a few hours or days later

Mine are healthy and creating new polyps, but they tend to close up for a day after I “direct” feed them.
They take the food and seem to like it, but the day after they are totally closed up
