Hello, thank you in advance for any guidance.

I have an Acan that has been struggling in my tank for a while now, while euphyllia and blastomusa seem to thriving. I believe their requirements are not so far off? Could they be more sensitive to light? Flow? Nothing about my nutrients sticks out to me. The other, what I believe to be blastos, are doing fine right next to it. How can I start diagnosing what’s preventing this coral from being happy?

Thank you again, truly appreciated.

Its looking to be nearly dead. Have you tried a new location? Check for vermited snails or othe nearby pests irritating it? Light and flow requirements are similar so that correct.

Sorry for the delay. I have moved it around a bit in the same general area, playing with flow and lighting, and the other corals adjacent continually seem happy. I do have vermited snails at the base of it, and have no clue how to deal with that. Could that be causing the irritation? How does one deal with them?

I have an army of Asterina, though I've RARELY seen them on a coral, they seem to only hang out on the rock and glass. I've also heard somewhere on the forum that they only eat dead parts of coral anyways.

Thank you for taking the time, truly appreciated.
