Can any tell me what the white thing is in the Centre of the red Orange acan is ? Could it be one of them star fish pest ?

From the pic it looks like mesenterial filament. The colony doesn't look in good shape with the receding. IME recession like that on an acan colony was chemistry related like alk swings.

Nope there in great shape !! That' why I asked and the dead parts are from sweepers tenticalcs from a torch coral that iv moved now as it was originally in a nano tank ! Its normally out showing grate color and feed tentacles out fully

I think it might be where a hermit crab has been on there ? The white thing is shrinking now on the acan

I just wanted to make sure it' not a pest or a astrai star fish ? Coz when I got some sps there was one on the coral ! I was going to pull the coral out and have a look but I just wanted to ask before I did , any way the white thing is almost gone now which makes me think it' where a hermit crab has gone on there and ticked it off lol

It was getting stung for about 6 months in a nano tank because I placed it to close to other Lps coral but now it's in my new tank its been moved

Wow, stung for 6 months and it's still alive? I'd say it's going to take some time to recover. Make sure all other corals are a good distance away except other acans. They can touch and be ok. Euphillia will most deffinatly kill an acan colony.

Its surprising how far the sweeper tenticalcs can go lol but yes there is loads of room now in my new tank so plenty of growing room in here

This was the coral stinging the crap out of my acan and I think blasto !! I'm usless with the coral names lol ,
