Acan strings

I've recently noticed these on the base of my Acan, is this normal or some type of worm?

Did you dip or quarentine the coral at all? Definitely looks like worms of some sort.

Yes it was dipped in coralrx, I may try dipping it again to see if it makes any difference.

They look like tube worms or feather dusters. The body is calcified/hard, so a dip won't remove them. While I've never experienced a problem with them you can manually scrape them off. Be careful as they can be sharp.
