Don't know what's happening I had this issue with a chalice but now it's happening to both my Acans. Tissue is receding at the edge showing skeleton. Can't keep my mag up something is sucking in it clean out of the tank it will drop over 100ppm in a day. Just tested its at 1170ppm calc low 400 alk 8.2-9 phos-70PPB. Started dosing all for reef and I'm unable to maintain magnesium levels. Started dosing brightwell magnesion. Tank is only 3 months old everything was looking healthy but now I'm having this issue. PLEASE HELP

There is no mechanism that can explain 100ppm drop in Mg every day in a reef tank.
Calcification consumes major elements in following ratio 2.8 dKh/ 18-20 ppm Calcium/ 1-2 ppm Mg. Lot of Alk needs to be consumed to reach 100ppm consumption in Mg.
Mg tests are considered very temperamental at best and tend to provide faulty reading. Another source for odd Mg reading is unstable salinity, 10% drop in salinity leads to 10% drop in Mg… Before any Mg test check salinity.
To check your test kit make a new batch of salt water @35psu and measure Mg.

As for the corals they like stability and frequent drops or increases can make them unhappy. Your stated parameters look good and if stable you may have different issue. It may be flow related or light spectrum, duration or intensity.
How are your NO3 values? Do you feed the corals?

I have not measured magnesium in years, alkalinity is the most important IMO.

What is your nitrate and phosphate level? Phos-70PPB what does that mean? Does it mean your phosphate is 70? Its impossible. What test kits are you using? What is your lighting and what do you have for water movement? Can you take a more clear picture in white light only, no blue's? A full tank picture will help us as well.

What kind of fish and inverts are in the tank? Is anything munching on corals?

There is absolutely zero chance the tank is consuming 100 ppm of magnesium in a day. Tanks never consume more magnesium than 1/10th of the calcium consumption.

Phosphate is .12 I got it down from .215 im using the hanna phosphorus checker ULR it's measured in PPB apposed to the phosphate checker that is measuring in PPM. I was going the math wrong this whole time I thought I was within range but I have it figured out now. Tan phosgaurd in the sump while dowsing microbacter7 got the phosphates down to .6PPM in 48 hours, tested again at 72 hours and my phosphates doubled to .12. Swapped out the phosgaurd bag for a chemipure bag we'll see where it's at tomorrow I don't want to bottom out my phosphates that's why I switched to the chemipure this morning while continuing to dose the MB7. I also added filter floss in weir. I have a 13.5 gallon AIO. Started feeding pellets everyone other day to give the fish a little variety instead of just feeding strained frozen shrimp everyday but I must have been over feeding. My nitrates are at 8.0. I'm using the red sea blue bucket for my salt.

I would be really careful about reducing your PO4 value. In my experience value between 0.1-0.3ppm are great range for reef tanks. You can get PO4 below 0.1ppm but that can lead to problems. Also drastic drops or swings in PO4 especially below 0.05ppm can really upset corals from my experience.

but drastic swings in PO4 can become an issue…

I have a cleaner shrimp, pistol shrimp, and an emerald crab. I have noticed in the morning sometimes my torches will be fully closed and take a while to open back up the cleaner shrimp hangs out right under them I'm wondering if he's messing with them, he'll be dinner if he is lol

yes those cleaner shrimp can be bothersome always stand on a coral or stealing its food. Mine got so big and fearless i finally had to get rid of mine.......he was a pig and tried to eat all the fish food. Some shrimp will eat your soft corals

Go look after lights out to check your corals....check and see who is doing what .....sometimes you find the culprit in the act
