I am getting conflicting information and would like to here from the community. Will Acan's keep their color under led's or will they all turn orange over time? I am hearing running T5's is the only way to keep Acan colors.

It is accurate to say acans change colors with different lighting parameters, mine changed when I just moved them to a different spot in the tank.

I do not think it is accurate to say that only a certain light will keep them from changing. They’ll change if they want to change.

FWIW in my case I moved mine from higher in the tank to lower, they went from red/blue to a slightly lighter shade, more orange/baby blue.

There are a couple of mine that come in as green and still are green. No change and the green is just a bright as they were when I got them.

Check out these acans. Pretty sure Greg runs radions. Lots of nice color there

Even @Ryanbrs had to shout out Greg's acans in his last video lol

Edit: forgot link

I’m planning to put few acans directly on san bed, sort of acan garden, to surround my Zoa’s rock. Will that work?
What acans should I avoid?
Cheers
