Acanthurus tangs growth rate?

What is an average growth rate for acanthursus species? 1" a year? More, less? I'm just curious how long until my little ones are fully grown

depends on the species really and how aggressively they eat. my Achilles had been growing slowly but my sohal...MY GOD.. he wont stop growing
