So I just did a thing, I got this super cool rock with a 3 tear feather duster and a small Kenya tree on it. I wanted to dip the rock because it came from an aquarium I'm not familiar with. Once I realized I wasn't supposed to dip the feather duster I pulled it out and inserted with fresh water and dropped it right in my tank. Will it survive?

Fresh water is not good; watch it carefully maybe moving to a bowl of salt water to see if it opens. You don't want it to die in your DT. Good luck
