So found out my doser broke today so i rushed out and picked up a new dos system.
I was kinda rushing through the setup and dumped 30 ml of cal into my alk container.
The calcium formed a layer on the top of the container. Is it ok to use this until i pickup some new alk tm or Friday?

Its going to precipitate rapidly and will most likely plug up everything in its path I would see what rand has to say but I would not use it.

Assuming this is a balanced two part, then approximately whatever amount of the lower volume solution in the combination (probably the 30 mL of calcium) destroyed that amount (30 mL) of the other solution. So if it was 30 mL, it is dead. If it was 2 liters, it is only slightly depleted.

The point about clogging is valid, so watch for those sorts of issues.
