Acclimating new species

- ‘Shimples’ I use a Food safe plastic Container like a Family size Ice Cream Box, put a Pin hole in the bottom put your new Fish or whatever with enough of their own Water to cover them in it and Float it in your Aquarium, they have Air, and Warmth, and it’ll gradually fill up over the next couple of Hours, you may have to adjust the Pin hole if it seems too slow, but you can put it and forget it even if it sinks in the end, no problem, your new inmates will release themselves. It appears that the bag water is also in that pail thereby going into the tank which is the last thing you want to encounter

I see your point, but In Nearly 50 Years I have never had a problem with that
