I'm thinking about buying some fish as well as a brittle starfish. They will be in water diluted down to about 24 ppt. I'll have a holding tank with water to match salinity of incoming fish.

What do you consider the minimum time to acclimate a starfish from 24 ppt to 35 ppt? How about fish?

Since I use the TTM method for QT, I take the 2 weeks to bring it from whatever the fish came in to my level of salinity.
With inverts I usually take about 8 hours.

3 days with two small raises each day would be fine. 24 to 26, 26 to 28, 28 to 30, 30 to 32, 32 to 34, 34 to 35. Even faster would be ok, but this is more conservative.
