How accurate/precise are these test kits? Are they worth it use if I’m following the Red Sea trace program?

Well all I can tell you is that I purchased the test kit a few years ago

It arrived, I opened it, saw the contents with ‘wide eyes’ and promptly sealed it up and sent it back! Lol

I can’t comment on their accuracy (check their web site it should tell you), but I decided it was adequate to dose the coral colours by calcium uptake as per the instructions and that’s what I’ve always done. I follow the entire reef care program and just under dose the coral colours slightly (side of caution) For me I just add some around every 7 days and have an ICP test probably once a year and everything is fine.

It’s all personal preference but if you like the idea of testing like a mad scientist go ahead and report back to us.
