Only problem with that is it also takes out alkalinity according to Kevin, Also I think most people drip it into their skimmer. There should be more than enough info in the forums to figure it out though.

I know The Reef Gallery will test your water for free. Aqua World will test it, think they might charge a couple bucks. I do not know if Elmer's will test for those parameters, I would be interested to know if anyone has that information.

Well, i think only one coral is actually placed via 2 part stick and a few have attached themselves to a rock. 90℅ are in a hole ,etc so nothing is permanent. I expect , I will me moving many to different spots as they grow or fail to grow.

Also should post latest test results:

Alk= 8.8 Dkh
PH= 8.1-8.2
Temp= 78
PO4= .025
Nitrate,Nitrite, Ammonia= near 0

Funny pic of my Urchin who is constantly decorating themselves with coral. How they r able to lift a coral weighing as much as themselves and place/hold it in place as they crawl around the tank is beyond me.

ace you mentioned about getting your tank with the eurobrace on the top edge instead of recessed. your tank seems to have arrived the standard way. I placed my order for a tank with similar dimensions and didn't specify the eurobrace type. From what I read his eurobrace is efficient because it creates bulletproof corners. my tank will be 60x30x24. did he mess up your order? If you can would you be able to take some better pics of the eurobracing?

The eurobraces are recessed "less" than their standard build , but still some. See pic.

The front and back braces ares 3/8 of an inch recessed and the side braces sit under those, so are recessed about 3/4". So my water level is about 1" from top of glass. From what I can remember , the standard build recesses the braces much more.

Hi Ted, I had not checked out your aquarium for a while so I decided to stop by. Wow, you are filling it up. It looks great. Are you pleased with everything, and how its working?

Yes, except for the continued hair algae issues. Thinking about getting a Foxface. And i still am working on a power backup. You should stop by in person.

I will but I never know when you are working and when you are home. I keep meaning to make the club meetings too but Saturdays it seems I have a lot of commitments.
