So I'm thinking about purchasing one of these acid splash anemones but it seems much whiter than a lot of the others that Iv seen. It could just be the lights it's under but wanted to ask all of your opinion sense the one on the left is the one for sale.

It may just be the lighting or the picture but I would say those looked bleached. Any time I have seen "acid splash" news online they have never looked like this. Then again I have never seen one in person fwiw.

Yeah everyone I've ever seen in pictures looks way more colorful than this, but those were probably under blue lights and possibly enhanced but like you have never seen one in person so don't know how to judge.

Hate to say it but Those are definitely bleached.
I looked up acid splash nems and none of them look like that
However if you look up bleached anemones they almost all look like that
Here's An example of the nem you're looking for

Yes this is exactly what I was picturing when I asked for the photos. But did not know if it was just because of the white lights or not. But like you only found photos online of them supercolorful

Bleached. We have a local guy selling these for about $25-$35, with really nice coloration. They are small though.

I've always been taught, if you can see through the anemone its bleached.

I see through that one abd would pass unless you are ready for a comeback battle.

Not that my input is needed but that too looks bleached. The acid splash photo above is also noticeably doctored for marketing, if anyone is curious or interested.

I bought one that looked kinda like that and it is very slowly recovering. It is closed up 3/4 of the day but is still fighting.
