Is there a good way to know if a crab Is an acro crab other than location? I just added this large Colony and this little dude is hanging out in the branches. Carapace maybe the size of half a dime. Blueish green color white claws. Acro seems super healthy and had full polyp extension after about an hour, doesn’t seem to be irritating it.

Not a great photo since lights are at 50 percent, but it’s right about dead center

Turn down the blues and purple, turn up the white. The crab is probably fine, but we can't see it to know for sure.

Need pics under bright white intensity - No blues

This will be a resemblance

That looks the guy from what I’ve seen. That’s a good guy? I’ll try to get another shot tomorrow when whites come on.
While good as they keep pests off the coral, they also interfere with polyp extension when they move amongst the coral. The most safe ones are smooth shelled with a black stripe along the face. If hairy or with black tips- No good

Okay, well even in the light of day I can’t really get a good shot due to his location.

That being said, it’s definitely white with a black stripe. I think the blue I was seeing was just the lighting. It looks just like this dude:
