I have this sps coral that I’m worried about. It was given to me by a friend who passed away and I want to do all I can to preserve it. I’m worried about what’s going on with it because it’s spewing out crud and I’ve never dealt with much sps care. Any opinions on what’s going on here?

It's either stress or feeding response, not bail out. Fun thing, acros can spew messenterial filament.

Do you have other acros? If not, then it is a stress response most likely. Mine do this after a dip.

Oh cool! No I have no other acros. Thanks for the help. Also, its polyps have only been coming out at night. Is that normal?
