Acro power

Acro power, how beneficial is it to your tank? Have you seen a difference? Or snake oil in a bottle?

I dose at about 1/2 the recommended dosage. I would say I've seen some improvement in color over the last few months. But it's not quantifiably related to acropower. It is more likely that my tank is finally hitting its peak at 15 months and the acros are starting to grow and color up well.
