Pic from seller and a pic in my tank. When purchased it was far more yellow than it is in my tank. Guessing i will need to raise it a bit higher in the tank. Mostly just curious as to what species this is so i can have a better idea of care. Definitely is a super beautiful piece. He called it reptile.

I’m not sure on the species, but many acros can thrive in the range of parameters as other sps. If you want it to resemble the color that you received it in, asking the seller for their parameters is a good starting point. For acros, lighting and flow play a big part in growth, while nutrients can help with color. Nice coral!

The seller was actually breaking down his tank to restart. Tired of battling cyano. Don’t necessarily want to chase that. I got a greggs unicorn, miyagi tort and cc helboy that are all looking really nice at the same height and very similar flow. Ive got a decent amount of acros that are doing well in the tank right now, especially an acropora florida and a valida.
I also recieved a strawberry shortcake from him but put it in around 450 par and it seems to be doing pretty well. Maybe toss it up high to see how it likes it? Or give it some more time maybe.

Regardless, i got 5 large frags from him for 120. The reptile, strawberry shortcake, hellboy, miyagi tort, and an aci crimson. Pretty happy even if the reptile never thrives.
