Acropora Coral Frags Common Names

So I admit it. I defiantly have an coral frag addiction. With that out of the way, I've been looking and drooling over many of the examples displayed on this site and elsewhere.

Are the sellers like RR/POTO/CORNBREAD etc. just finding corals at the wholesalers and giving them a name? Angry birds are a popular and desirable frag is seems but I can't tell the difference between that and say Jason fox pimped out.

The colors can express differently based on tank parameters and stressors but some of these guys look identical. Give my your take on Angry birds and Pimped out. Thanks

Thats typically how it works. Unless its a known coral with a long lineage of that name that they got from another seller. The worst were zoas back in the day to some extent it still happens.
