Got this coral a while back, grow out from a tiny frag of 1/2". It is coloring up nicely as it grow out. Took the pictures under regular light as well as blue light, the color represent very well under regular light but couldn't get a nice pic of it under blue light. Pic under blue light didn't show well the neon green tip, the green tips really shine just like what you see from candle light acro.

Anyway, I am guessing it is porites or granulosa, but i can't be sure. It is purple and pink with red radial corallites which it is small and pocket-like. Any input is much appreciated.

It was my first thought, the branch slightly thinner than granulosa. Not sure i write porites to start with. :squigglemouth:
I did google images of loripes, i couldn't fine image of loripes with this coloration so i have second guessing it might be other species.

LOL, the porites comment really threw me off o.O

Agree with granulosa or loripes. BTW, color is not an indicator of species.

With that said, the corallite structure tends to lean towards granulosa to me, but I think this one could go either way right now. Once it gets bigger and there's more growth structure to see, it will be easier then.
