I am plenty sure that i am not dealing with AEFW. I had a system infected with this some years ago and I cannot find any bitemarks or any signs. Have 4 wrasses just to be sure. The darker section? It is very hard to tell in the picture. Honestly it looks like an AEFW. They look very similar. Brown/Tan blobs. Does the dark section change shape? But I don't see any bite signs or eggs. Again very hard to see in the picture.

It have not changed. It was a little bit smoother before I received the frag but curious if it’s get too much flow?
I also have a Turaki and a Echinata that have some rough tissue especially on the tips.
Hey Sam are you taking about these that I circled. I'm a stick newb and trying to educate myself. The bumpy skin and "tuliped" polyps are not normal. It is some sort of disease/ailment that stunts coral growth. I've had several pieces doing this for a couple of years now. Had some luck clipping the affected area. New growth usually comes out alright.
I was wondering if he was talking about these spots, but I've seen your tank and yours makes me look like a newb so take that into consoderation lolHey Sam are you taking about these that I circled. I'm a stick newb and trying to educate myself.

Yes, those areas of bumpy skin that you have circled especially in the middle. And yes, the "tulip" shaped polyps. More prominent in the base, for sure.I was wondering if he was talking about these spots, but I've seen your tank and yours makes me look like a newb so take that into consoderation lol![]()

It’s always something to worry about with reef tanks for sure. Maby just wait it out. Only one Acro that are affected.I don't think it's bacterial. I swabbed an affected acro and sent it to aquabiomics and nothing out of the ordinary came back.
