Acropora species and their relative care levels (for an acro newbie)

I've had very poor luck with acropora tenius overall. Maybe it was coincident that i added them to early and one go blasted by a torch but I feel they are highly susceptible to RTN in a new tank. I have come to the conclusion that they probably benefit from Lower phosphates and need an established reef tank with good microfauna. I don't think they can just hang out and wait around like other acros! Its irritating since they are the most expensive ones and I have to give them another try when things are super stable!

I had my tank about two years and SPS, and LPS, were growing well and the tank stable. It was at this point my LFS encouraged me to try an acropora (my GARF). I have just decided to expand that as I’m confident I can keep up the necessary stability - I wasn’t in a rush as there are so many nice corals outside of acropora anyway
