Hey everyone I’ve been in reefing for about 4 years now and it’s been a heck of a ride. I first started with a nano tank (fluval evo 13.5) and quickly became more and more interested in the hobby. Fast forward to now and this tank has been running for almost 2 years.
Now for the equipment-
85 gal hexagon acrylic aquarium, 20 gal trigger sump, jbj 1/10 chiller, Apex controller system with leak detention kit, Kessil a360x, eheim 300W heater, Syncra SDC 6.0 return pump, mp40 ecotech, reef octo 110 classicINT, AI prime fuge light, Aqua UV 25W, Tunze ATO 3155 and a 4 head ReefDose.

Thanks everyone for all comments or suggestions that you guys have given me to better care for my kids!

I saw a freshwater hexagon tank in my LFS today, so I was immediately fantasizing how it would look like as a reef tank. I just came by your tank and it looks very cool! Can't wait to see it fully stocked with corals :)

It’s really awesome, I have a peninsula tank cycling but I love the clean look and doesn’t take up much foot print.

Peninsula's look very nice too! I've been thinking to get one as my second tank. But a hexagon is more unique, I really like how yours looks!

What's your experience with the flame angelfish? Does he nip on corals or is he reef safe?
No issues what’s so ever he’s been a model citizen since I feed them 2x per day plus a green or red nori sheet every other day so I always try to keep him full so he doesn’t get curious about the euphyllia

RBTA’s splitting every 2 weeks now, filled up really nice within a week. Now I have this predicament on wether I should move the frogspawn or pray for the newly split nem to relocate.
