Acrylic tank build thickness

Go 1/2" its like $100 more.

Petco has production tanks made with 1/4”! Scary!

Glasscages uses 3/8 for their acrylic 48x18x17 with a black frame. I wanted the extra 1" high so I am using 1/2. Over The Edge sells standard size frames.
