I tried to find the member that helped me with Links as to working with Acrylic with no success. However Thank You. I am doing my first project with it . Its only 1/ 16 thick but still a challenge. I found videos on bending it using a heat gun. Did not work well trying to get 90 % bends freehand. So as in woodworking I made a jig . A few warm up mistakes but have it worked out now , Interesting stuff

I made my 2'x2' frag tank out of a long sheet of 1/4" acrylic bent into a square using a wood jig and heat gun. I'm still surprised and a little scared it will leak but its been holding water for more than a year now, so probably still better than a red sea tank. Getting a uniform heat across the entire section I wanted to bend was pretty difficult with the heat gun, if I were to do it again I would try out one of these strip heaters designed for this. https://www.tapplastics.com/product/supplies_tools/plastic_tools_supplies/free_standing_heaters/

Thank You a great idea however I think the amperage is pretty low. The gun I have is 15. Maybe you don't need as high of an amperage with that design
