Actinic Lighting

So I'm somewhat new to corals and not really sure what type of lighting schedule or power that they need to be on? I have a 180G reef tank and have 3 Hydra 26 hd's
My other question is how do I get the actinic lighting? I keep trying to take photos when its dark at night but it won't register it on my camera at all so I think I'm not doing it right
