Was able to get the Theiling Rollermat Compact setup last night. So far so good. There's a little bit of bubbling going inside but not too loud. I have a feeling it's going to throw my ATO out of whack though but we'll see how it goes once it kicks in. Also moved the chaeto to its own chamber and threw a small koralia pump in there for flow but not sure if it'll get enough at the moment.

Hindsight, I should have cleaned up my sump after looking at these photos!

Shame you couldn’t get it in where the filter socks use to be. [emoji3]

That was my original plan, the end result was actually plan B. I wasn't sure if the base of the Theiling would get into the second opening (filter sock -- it cleared the first opening fine) and unfortunately it didn't. Would have been perfect otherwise.

Kessil A360X Lights are up, I'm running 50% color, 30% intensity, with 100% violet, 5% red and 5% green.. still tweaking the colors a bit.

Interesting observation, I have a PMK next to my auto feeder (back of the tank), my G4P's were pushing 150 PAR. With the Kessils I see 200'ish..

Looking great! Curious why the switch on lights? Do you like the look of the tank better with the Kessils ? higher PAR, form factor? All of that? I have Kessils on my FW tank and I like them for many reasons but feel that the Radions on my SW tank seem to have a better spread but I don't have data to back that up, just observation.

Hey Zuma.. Yeah I like the look better since it's smaller -- has a really sleek feel. I found myself bumping into the Radions a lot during cleaning. The X has "self cleaning" too which I wanted to check out. My Radions would collect a lot of dust. Part of me just wanted something different too.

As far as the PAR goes, I have mainly softies, a few lps, a little sps and my tank is only 18" tall so I'm not too concerned with PAR. I just find it weird that my PMK shows that the X (@30%) has more PAR than my G4 (@35%) w/ diffuser o_O -- must be the 130 degree spread hitting the back of my tank.

There is definitely more shadowing with the Kessil right now. The Radions color blending with the diffusers looks very much T5-like.. solid blanket of light

I picked up a G5 adaptor to rig with my Kessil Arms. If anyone is looking for the screws I picked them up from Home Depot - M5-0.8 x 8 mm

Wow!! Great tank, contemplating to convert my FW ADA 120p to an Sps dominated reef tank, and found this gem!! Was planning a sump design that would fit filter roller, sump and a refugium!! Cause I'm all about that nutrient export life . Would love to see how your tank is doing now.

Oh wow, its been awhile but wanted to post a quick update. Tank is still up but was super neglected for the past 2 years due to a move and then another hobby came to play (crypto mining) so my efforts were placed elsewhere.

First, an updated FTS.
PXL_20230223_224216934.jpg

Second, the first year after the move, I did only 2 (40%) water changes in the entire year. The second year, I did 1 (50%). So in 2 years I did 3 water changes. I topped off with just RO from our drinking faucet. I dosed Alk/Calc daily. Changed the filter roller when needed.

What I experienced -- Things got browner, 90% hard corals died, chaeto died, algae everywhere. On the up side, shrooms thrived, my 2 anemones turned into 30+.. all my fish are doing ok

Last month I finally pulled my rodi and sw station out from storage so I've been doing wc's weekly. This eliminated the algae problem I had. Going to focus more on my tank now!
