Hit a speed bump. Found a bubble in one of the seams -- info here: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/seam-integrity.406890/

I didn't want to bother trying to reseal or bringing it anywhere so I just picked up a new one 120P. Side by side comparison, my old one must have been a super old model, it's darker and thinner. The new one was what I was expecting to see in the first place.

Next steps, remove overflow from the old 120P and transfer it over to the new one and drill the new tank. Dejavu!

OK, was able to re-drill the new 120P and add the overflow this weekend. Waiting for this to cure, then to the hard piping.. almost there!

Fresh watered up overnight, zero leaks -- ready to rock and roll this weekend!

Question: my drain pipe is about 6-7 inches down the water line, is that too far down? I've been reading up and people usually put it 1 inch below the water line. Not sure if it being so deep will cause any issues? I notice a lot of bubbles but nothing too crazy.

Using a eheim return pump to test - will be using a COR-15 once complete.

Wow, really nice build and craftsmanship with the stand and overflow! Will be great to see a reef growing in there soon.
