A little while back I asked a question about adding some T5s to my 3 Radions Gen 3 pros and got some good replies, thanks to all those who took the time to reply to my post. Today I finally put the last piece to my lighting jigsaw buy replacing a 14k tube with an ATI Blue plus tube. I now have the following setup lighting.

I moved the 2 x 39w x 3' T5 tubes to the rear of the tank and put 2 x 54w T5 Hagen unit I bought for £10 at the front. The 2 tubes are a KZ Fiji purple and an ATI Blue plus at the front with a ATI actinic and an ATI blue plus to the rear. Really liking the look of the tank now which took some time to achieve. Many of the shaded areas have been eliminated.

I have also been doing some research and working with a lighting diffuser specialists to make a decent diffuser for my Radions at a budget price which I am very pleased with this after my 4th attempt to get the right diffuser. You can just see them in the video below.

Sorry for the quality it was just taken with my phone.

@atoll
Once again, great job!!

Led/T5 hybird is hard to beat and the T5's sure do fill in the shadows. Great job on your diffuser's and your reef is looking wonderful.

Thanks for taking the time to share ;Writing and it's always a pleasure to us all :)

Yeah only a short time with the T5s but the corals are certainly enjoying them. A porities in particular has coloured up and taken off. On Friday I replaced the 14k tube with an ATI blue plus. I will see what affect that has on the corals.

Have any of you adjusted the settings of the leds after adding the t5 bulbs?

Love the setup and lighting arrangement you have come up with.

Can this be obtained in the USA?
I can't answer that 100% as I am in the UK but quite possibly. Took me 3 previous failed attempts to come up with something that worked as well as I wanted and worked with a specialist here in the UK trying different diffuser material until I hit what I have now.

Love the look of the tank with the addition of the T5s! Have you noticed any change in response from the Mag? Between the spotlight, LEDs and T5s I’m sure it’s loving life right about now. Seems like it’s gotten larger since the last video I saw when you added the spotlight. Looks great as does the rest of your reef.

Nothing anything particular about the nem to be honest. It did close up for a day but reopened earlier in the week. All corals doing well and colourful.
