adding a link in sig

I have tryed so many times now to create a link in my sig and its not working. In the preview it shows as working but when I go to one of my threads its not showing up. The code im using is [ url=https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/my-first-build-sps-dominant-150-build.228022/#post-2646312] My Build [/url] (without the space of course). Is the code im using wrong?

So whats wrong with the code now as it keeps removing the [url= portion and just putting the web address .

Thank you so much Lol I even tried my old HTML format of <url= lol

With no spaces:
[url = link code]link text[/url]

Or you can just type your visible link text, highlight it, and then use the link button and paste in your url code.

I noticed the link button after you fixed it and I went to go look at the code. the odd thing is i was using the code you put put it kept erasing the [url= part. Thank you again
