I'm ready to start stocking my new tank but don't know what would be best order to adding fish from my list. Any help would be much appreciated, I plan on adding a couple every week or 2.
Where would you start?
Royal gramma
2 clowns
2 cleaner shrimp
2 diamondback gobies
Yellow tang
Blue hippo
Copperband
Hawkfish
Flame hawk
Fire fish
Foxface

I see no issue with any order except copperband first and eating. What size tank and how are you qt your fish?

125 gal. I've had a copperband before and understand they can be picky eaters. I plan on loading with pods before anything. Just trying to do a little homework first.
I've also never Qt and don't plan on starting for this build either. I understand the risks there too.
Copperband last you think though, if at all?

I think they meant copperband first.

Curious if this will be fish only, or if you intend to add corals later? If adding corals I would do some research on the fish, some of those are "Reef safe with caution", and I've had HORRIBLE luck with that... Fish are very hard to catch with good rockscape as well.

Yes copperband first in, as stated above, at least before tangs to get it eating and comfortable. I would recommend and reconsider qt. It’s very easy using TTM with dips and insurers a healthy aquarium. I started QT in 2011 and will never go back to not qt.

I'll look into it some more.
TTM?

It will have coral

Not much to do with stocking order, but you have cleaner shrimp and two different? kinds of hawkfish on your list.

I don't see that ending well.

This is the kind of info I'm looking for, thank you. Never had a hawkish before, still need to do my research for capability. If I did go with a hawkish it would only be one, but not if they eat shrimp. I like my cleaner shrimp
