So I have a nano tank and I’ve added some hermit crabs, starfish and turbo snail. What fish should I add besides clownfish? I was thinking a watchman font and pistol shrimp because their symbiotic relationship is just awesome. Had one I’m my 49 gallon. Any other suggestions? I got a fluval 13.5.

My only suggestion is take the starfish back to the lfs, unless its a brittle or serpent star, its going to slowly starve to death in your tank. Starfish generally just don’t do well in home aquariums, and especially smaller aquariums.

I respectfully disagree. I have a small
Starfish and my small girl is doing fine.

What's the footprint of your aquascape? And are your clowns aggressive?

I have a captive-bred dottyback pair in my Evo. They're great little fish, and could probably hold their own with clownfish. I do note that quite a few people have seen aggression from them -- but I have not.

I had a watchman goby in my Evo at one point, but it stirred the sandbed like crazy and filled the water column with sand. They're really better off in larger tanks.
