Adding Macro's during cycle?

I have my 210g tank cycling and I'm wondering if I added some of my Macro algae's and if I had a ammonia spike, would it be an issue? I wouldn't think so but I definitely don't want to do anything that would prolong the cycle.

I usually add macro during the cycle. Never had any negative effects.

Yea, go ahead. It will actually help the cycle out, not hinder it.
