So I have set up a 120g tank in the start of this year.
My list atm:
8 zoas
2 mushrooms
2 gonioporas
2 bernadporas
1 Duncan
1 micro lord

Everything seems to do fine after 3 weeks in the tank and I was wondering when should I add more corals to the tank? How do I know that the ones I have just thrive compared to just surviving.

All polyps are extended and looks to my untrained eye like they should.

Reason why I ask is to not put all the coral money in one go and then lose everything :/

You can add corals anytime you want, they have no real bioload, so go crazy.

As you mention, the only downside is they can die and you lose your money. Its like gambling. So only spend what you can afford to lose.
Okey so just wait the. So I don’t spend all the money before checking that they don’t die off. I assume the best way to check is to see if they grow / multiply

I would say a couple a week is a good rule of thumb as you’re starting out as long as your parameters stay stable and you are not seeing declines in health. Good luck!

Thanks, I’ll probably wait 2-4 more weeks to make sure I have stable parameters during this time before adding more in. Don’t want to be 2k in and everything goes to **** the first couple of months.
