Hi all,
my tank is 11 months old and I’m thinking of adding a Neptune system. I have found an older unit new in box(pics below) is it worth it to go this route or buy new, this one is available for 5-600
i want to add trident to it as well Which I will probably buy new.
thanks for any help.

I believe to get the warranty, you have to be the original purchaser from a retailer.... so that could be a downside of buying secondhand.

I LOVE Apex and can't encourage you enough to buy one. But I have definitely had RMA repairs over the ~8 years I have been using Neptune products and used the warranty.

I do want to add though that the last issue I had with one of my devices was a 6 year old Neptune DOS that had a motor issue. The unit was well out of warranty and they fixed it for free. I was totally shocked. Great support.
