Adding rock anemonie

30 gallon cube is cycled but only running for three weeks so far. Ammonia is 0, nitrites are 0 and the nitrates are .10. Running a hang on back filter and a small power head for additional flow. Bare bottom. At what point can I add the rock anemone and a couple fan worms?
Also, is there anything I should add to the tank to help with keeping them health ?

I love my rock nems, they have babies every few weeks in my 10 gallon tank. Usually once a month Ill notice a few new different patterned babies and get all excited!
Although I love them dearly, 1 of 4 moves around all the time so I dont keep any other coral in that tank.

That's good to know. The moving part is what keeps me from placing anemones in the tank so if a rock anemone is going to move it might not be a good choice. Appreciate your reply.

I adore mine though :) they do move but I feel like actual nems move a lot more. Especially if you get baby nems...those things fly all over the place before they attach.

Easiest way to stop them from moving is to put them inside of the barnacle

The ones in rock cavities dont move but the ones set on sand level between sand and rock move ~4-5 inches sometimes.

Also, I feed mine weekly (or when I remember-sometimes 2x/week or so lol) They spew out babies like rabbits.

Can they be glued to rock? I have no substrate, just glass bottom.

so, technically theyre inverts....They have a pedal foot, sort of like a clam, that suctions/anchors to between a crack in the rock or the glass bottom.
3 of mine are on live rock and never touch the sand, 1 is between sand/rock.
I believe theyre all happy.

Im not going to say you NEED substrate but the ones that move to the glass will need something to prop themselves up against as they open.

Once you put them on a rock...unless they move on their own, you will never be able to get them out of the cracks unless you break the rock.

yup , I've had the same experience with rbta's too and maxi mini's, i almost feel like they need to have a shelter to feel comfortable.

As far as Im aware, none of the anemones have tubes. Are you thinking of feather dusters?
