I have 180 gal with 60 gal sump. So far I have a few soft corals, lots cuc, coral beauty angel, green striped goby, diamond goby, purple firefish and starry blenny. I would like at least 2 or 3 wrasses maybe 4 or 5. I can only order 2 right now. I probably will order Multicolor Fairy Wrasse and McCosker's Flasher Wrasse for now. Only looking at basically reef safe Wrasses for now and the future. Will I have trouble adding 1-3 more later? I can't really find a source to get all of them at one time and would be more comfortable doing it in stages anyway.

Planning to add 1 butterfly, 1 or 2 tangs, 1 or 2 more angels in the future, too. Maybe a pair of clowns. I assumed wrasses were the best next additions and the rest later.

Thank you,

Linda

You will be fine adding wrasses later, plenty of reefers do it that way.

Shouldn’t be a problem adding a couple of wrasses later. I would highly recommend full QT of all new fish. Wouldn’t want to risk the fish you already have. QT is not Just for disease but to let the fish recover their strength and make sure they are eating well whatever food it is you feed. Weak fish who haven’t recovered from the long journey to get to your tank are less likely to be able to fend off any aggression if there is any. They might just hide and not eat.
