Additional Fish Suggestions

I have a 180g DT with the following fish:
Yellow Tang
Kole Tang
Sailfin Tang
Flame Dwarf Angel
Solarensis Wrasse
Ocellaris Clownfish, Captive-Bred (5 small, all between 1/2 to 1 inch)
Forktail Blenney x 2
Yellow Goby
Blood Shrimp
Cleaner Shrimip
Snails

I eventually would like to add a dwarf lion fish and a blue throat trigger; but these will be last. What other fish would make good additions?
Scott's Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus scottorum)?
Mystery Wrasse (Pseudocheilinus ocellatus)?
Hoeven's Wrasse (Halichoeres melanurus)?

The tank is almost a year old. I stay away from anything that's difficult to maintain.

Maybe 2 or 3 Anthias, and a flasher wrasse or 2. Im working on building a 180g and will have a similar stocking list to you

I would think that just about any adult lionfish will mean the end for your goby . . .

Of the wrasses, mysteries and Scott's fairies both have reputations for aggression - and Scott's has a rep for losing color in captivity. The melanurus seems to be a great candidate though, and one of the fish on my personal wishlist.

They top out at something like seven inches long, IIRC. I've seen a ten inch volitan lion consume a fifteen inch blackedge moray, so I don't like to underestimate the swallowing power of lionfish . . . (In that case, the lion also died - of indigestion, I suspect.)

I've never kept one, but yeah ... everything I've read says "trouble".

Probably your clowns also. Lions will eat anything they can get in there mouths and sometimes they think their mouths are bigger than the really are. I have a friend that has had them for a while and his advice has alway been unless it's bigger than the lionfish then the lionfish sees it as prey. Just something to think about

The forktail blennies and cleaner and blood shrimp will also be on the menu of the lion.

Thanks for the guidance. I will wait for my predator tank for the lionfish. No timeline on that.
