"So, he sent me 20 pieces of SPS (which looked super nice) and 4 chalices (which did NOT Look legit). Unfortunately, all were dead."

I'm little confused. They looked super nice but were dead? Did you take pictures and document everything?

You can look at the dead pieces (like the hodag's up there) and tell they were legit. I could tell they were the corals he described, and they weren't all completely RTNd straight out of the bag, just in bad shape. It was apparent he sent live SPS that was what he described. He didn't ship dead coral. His poor packaging cost the SPS.

Honestly, it's really confusing. He claimed in the thread that he "had to trim his tank at home because of crazy growth." Yet he has a website and a frag company apparently. Just doesn't add up.

Probably a stealth vendor.

That's why I check constant feedback and ask around before I order from random people. Too many shady **** fawks around lately.

uhhh, I take it you are the guy or his second account? This look like live stuff to you?

Ok, well im done helping you, in your first post you say you got 20 which looke super nice. Meaning none where dead, i mean i dont call dead pieces super nice. So where you lieing about 20 super nice pieces? Second You said you got 20 super nice pieces and now you show dead pieces how do we know you didn't kill them in your system? Lastly If i was the guy why would i tell you how to file under paypal?

Not to mention he claimed to have WWC chalices but couldn't prove lineage and used their stock pictures. I made a order from WWC a week or two ago and they even mentioned him to me about how people use their name to sell coral. They said they'd "never heard of the guy." That thread was taken down. =/

Sorry, I explained later on what I meant by that. Didn't mean to be chippy, but losing that much money on dead coral is a bummer. :hell_boy:

After reading through your posts, I'm still confused about you saying you got 20 super nice sps frags in your first post and all sps frags are dead in your later posts. So are you saying that all sps frags were fine when you first got them, and became dead within hours after introduced in your tank?

It came USPS, I don't remember having to sign for it.

I've called paypal about this about a month ago... they demand that you have signature confirmation for any chance at seller protection....yet, when you ship USPS express from their website, the signature confirmation option is nonexistant and says "signature confirmation available upon request" with no way of including it...

You have to go through USPS's website, Click n Ship, and then pay via credit card (USPS doesn't take paypal) in order to add signature confirmation which comes free with express mail....it's a really annoying process...

I asked Paypal to fix this, they said they'd look into it, and it's still like that today.

I mean "super nice" as in all ORA, rare SPS. I could tell (even in their horrible state) that they were Sunset milli, Blue Voodoo, Oregon Tort, etc. even though alll had little to no color. I sent him a message as soon as I opened the box about how cold the water is and how bad they looked. Then I sent a message telling him half were RTNd in the bags, the other half I'd give a shot. I then sent him a message a few hours later letting him know the entire order was lost.

Another poster here was at my place when the box arrived, he could vouch for just how bad a state these coral were in.

Like I said, I've ordered from every big name site (WWC, Divers Den, SWF, etc etc) and never had an issue before. I've also ordered from other reefers with no issue.

I was really trying to give the guy at least a little credit with that statement.

Gotcha. I hope the seller will contact you soon and work out something with you. Paypal just not countable when paid with bank account.

Me and you both no this, they say the payment went threw...

20 minutes after disputing and leaving negative feedback he's on here leaving me negative feedback. lol. He hasn't responded in two days yet left negative feedback in mere minutes.

/sigh

Maybe you guys should take this to PM or email and include a mod or something. I think it's been determined that you are owed for the lost coral due to poor packaging and know how to deal with it via paypal.

Closed at request of OP. Thanks everyone.
