So i just got myself a fairly young Melanurus wrasse today from the lfs, he's currently in my qt tank, buried inside a container of sand, and from what I've gathered he/she will likely stay in the sand for the next week or so, my question is around feeding, i generally feed mysis or sometimes brine, which it should like, but when do i start feeding? Do i drop some food in while he's under the sand in the hopes it comes out and eats, or do i just ride it out until he shows up then feed?
Cheers for the help.

Dim lights. Put food in tank. Watch for it to come on on video cam.

Can ignore this post actually.
Came home to a dead fish in qt. No issues with water quality, nothing visible on the fish, massive shame.
