I recently purchased a Reef Octopus 110-s for my little cube tank. I also purchased the neck cleaner. I was hoping to auto drain the skimmate to a DIY locker but it turns out the 110S's collection cup does not have a drain. My bad I know.

Is there a fix for this, or do I have to drill the collection cup to install the drain. The acrylic looks very thin so I am not sure about drilling or how I would attach a drain hose. Thanks for the help.

Also when drilling put masking tape on BOTH sides of plastic, that will help it from cracking.
