So time for an update.

My Tank arrived last friday!!!

We squeezed it through the door.

Unfortunately the sump was shattered during delivery, but they had one at the shop to throw in.

It however did not fit in the stand, so they had to shave it down a little:

Been filling for a few days:

Water just started to trickle down the overflow as I type this, should be fully circulating by end of night.

The geissman fixtures did not fit in the canopy, The geissman fixtures did not fit in the canopy, so having some custom fabrication done.

Figured I would toss in a little update, the tank is fully cycled, have a few fish in there doing great, eating well, and loving all the space.

I went a different route with the flow and grabbed an mp60 and a couple mp40s. So far seems to be adequate. But will re evaluate when it's time to start adding coral.

The Geissman fixture did not fit in the canopy, so it has to be custom mounted in there with the Kessils.

Can kind of see my Avast Spyglass Reactor there, had a few issues with it, but getting it dialed in.

Skimmer still breaking in.

Yeah I need to clean the wires up a bit, but still fine tuning everything.

I ordered a bigger ATO reservoir because this thing chews through 5 gallons like nothing.

All my parameters are at zero (Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate) or close to it anyways. Fine for fish only as it is now, will see how it matures and continues along before I start adding corals.

But even with all the issues (Sump broke on delivery, lights not fitting, several pieces of equipment broke out the box) I am having a blast.

Sorry for all the blue, but that is even with the blue turned all the way down on Kessils, I need to get one of those lenses.

Thanks for following along!

Time for a little update.

Overall the tank is incredibly healthy. The parameters are stable thanks to a bunch of money thrown at it in dosing pumps, Neptune equipment and a whole heck of a lot of time every single day. Had a bacteria bloom that lasted a few days and then went away, had an issue with an avast spyglass reactor exploding all over my sump but luckily didn't make it to or affect the display.

Since last update I added a BRS jumbo co2 scrubber that has stabilized the PH.
I swapped the spyglass reactors for BRS Deluxe
I upgraded the ATO reservoir from 5 gallon to 40 gallon (Thanks advanced acrylics!)
I got my trident and dos up and running with trident controlled dosing.

And I added livestock.

Here is my list so far, and I'm going to chill for a while on adding new stuff (we'll see how that goes). Everything is small/babies, and added slowly over the last month or two...well as slowly as I could.

Yasha Goby w/ pistol
2 orange spot prawn goby w/pistol
2 helfrichi firefish
purple tang
blue hippo
blue star leopard
pintail wrasse
midas blenny
2 Rhomboid
2 cleaner shrimp
a mixed cleanup crew
and my gems - 2 longfin blackstorm clownfish (Pics below)

All are tiny, so fairly light bio-load

I'm struggling with TOO CLEAN of water, and working on that, trying to not let phosphate and nitrate hit zero, but it ain't happening.

Some pics: (Algae on sand, trying to keep my hands out of it till this Sunday's water change)

Next project is the frag system that will be pumped into the display tank in another room, will be fun. I ordered a 6 foot frag tank from advanced acrylics

here is the gear and spot it will go:

The blue and red pex is what will connect the two systems, can see earlier posts for more on that.

Thanks!!!!

Awesome setup!
Cant wait to see the progress.
My next tank will be similar in size. Going from a standard 120 to a 96x36x24 peninsula.
How do you like the external overflow as I may go that route.
Thinking of glass cages too.

I love it. Its just that much more tank space available. Its silent as well. Getting sufficient flow as well which is sometimes a challenge with bigger peninsulas. I added the difusers (think thats what they are called) the things that jet the water down the tank. They work great.
