Based on observation from other posts, I would like to hypothesize that Bubble tip anemones bubble up more during low light to increase surface area for zooxanthellae and zoochlorellae to photosynthesize I will further study this with my own month long experiment

When light is ramping up and is at 40-50% intensity

When light is at its peak:

Too much light and they go into hiding and even have potential to bleach as they lose their color source known as zooxanthellae which people see as pooping but is actually expelling their inner algae substance. Moderate to medium light sufficient. Too much flow will also cause them to move and hide

Mine sit under 350 - 400 par. Some bubble some don't even tho they are right next to each other. I gave up trying to figure out why some bubble and others do not.
Mine also get blasted with a lot of flow :thinking-face:

EDIT: Example
