Just a thought. You could do what I did. Evacuated close enough to get back as soon as the storm is over. Set up a battery generator to run your circulation pumps at 10% with at least 2 right at the waterline when the power goes out so they generate oxygen transfer. I used a $109 eco flow that ran my tank for over 15 hours and saved my aquarium while I was evacuated. Got home and swapped out with a second eco flow while I charged the first. It worked out well for me. Just an idea if selling your reef is eating you up !

I'm sorry about your decision, and hope your home and family were as safe as could be through the storm. That's a beautiful tank, I'm sure someone near you would be very grateful to you for your generosity, and thrilled to keep that system running. Good luck!

I stayed and didn’t leave during the Hurricane because of the Aquarium

I hear you... my tanks were one of the main reasons I stayed (and bought a generator that I would normally not have purchased)... we do crazy things for what we love.

Having said that, you obviously love the tank... otherwise you wouldn't have stayed.

If I can help you with backup power (even something as simple as bubblers that I used in my tank and sump), etc. - OR - if you're truly looking to get out of the hobby, I'm just in Sarasota and would like to know more about what you have.

Either way, I'm glad you made it through.

Please see list and purchase price of equipment. I also have ReefMat $350, ATO Reservoir w/ matching white stand & pump $250, Apex module to monitor temp & PH $300, two SKY lights with stand and skirt $2,200. I have probably $1000 worth of nice hammers, some GSPs, mushrooms, Bowerbankies, etc. Fish - a male Anthia, a little puffer, a filefish and 6 or 8 super hardy mollies. As I have mentioned, will take discount for an experienced home!

The rules are you need to list a price you are selling it for, since R2R is not an auction site. Either a whole package, or break it all up, but you need to list prices, and mention if shipping is available, etc.
