So I have a 180 w two haddonis in it a red and blue. My clowns dive in to the red and have cut the red ones body like someone had cut a peice out of a pie. The clowns are huge, they are black saddle backs (polymnius) I have been contemplating getting rid of them but don't really don't want to. Any advice? Thanks I can get some pics of it tonight.

You could use something to surround the anemone until it recovers and get's larger.

That is one issue with A. polymnus, a single one is bad, 2 is even worse. While I think they are great clowns, I have stopped keeping them --- too skittish and love to dive into the mouth of an S. haddoni.

Heck, I even lost a female clown from diving into the mouth and not coming out in time --- came out 5 minutes later like a bat out of Hades -- died the next day.

You could try removing them for a week (( put them in the sump )) and see if the anemone starts to look better. However, IMO/E, nothing will change.

Been think about getting rid of them, but they are a breeding pair that has been laying for the last 8 mths every ten to fifteen days. So would want them to go to someone who can take advantage of them. Also what would a pair like this go for?
